Membership Team
The purpose of this team is Relating and Fellowship: relating
one another to Jesus Christ and with each other (Acts 2:41-42).
Maturing Team
The Maturing Team’s purpose is Equipping: leading the church
family to deeper spiritual commitment and developing spiritual
maturity (Matthew 28:18-20).
Ministering Team
The purpose of this team is Releasing and Ministry: releasing
people to do ministry and helping them find a meaningful place of
service that best expresses their gifts and abilities (Matthew
28:18-20).
Caring Team
The Caring Team’s purpose is Nurture: caring for the new
visitors, new members, entire church family and staff (Matthew
22:37-40).
Mission Team leasing people to do ministry and helping them find
a meaningful place of service that best expresses their gifts and
abilities (Matthew 28:18-20).
Membership Team
The job of the Membership Team is to relate one another to Jesus
Christ and with one another. The Membership team consists of three
different commissions.
Assimilation/Watchcare Commission ?This commission works to
welcome and connect Visitors, New Christians, and New members to
the church through weekly Greeting and Visitation. They also
maintain the Prayer chain, and are faithful to pray for those
requests. As special needs arise they organize the efforts to meet
those needs.
Social Commission ?Works to build the relationships in our
fellowship by maintaining the Kitchen, Social calendar, Social
functions, Dinners for fellowship. Any social function the church
is involved in is planned and supported by and through this
commission.
Evangelism/Outreach Commission ?Works to build the relationship
between our church body and our community. This is done thorough
Evangelism and Outreach events, Bridge building events (meeting
community needs), Seeker groups (small group), and Evangelism
training.
Involvement in Membership Team would be a perfect opportunity
for you if you have a heart for meeting new people, building
relationships in the church or meeting the needs of those in our
community.

Maturing Team
The Maturing Team leads the church family toward deeper
spiritual commitment and spiritual maturity. There are 2
commissions within the Maturing Team:
Worship/Music Commission - One of the ways that we grow in our
faith is through our worship of God. This commission provides
support, planning and set of our weekly Worship services through
planning and leading in Music, Sound system, Tapes/CD ministry,
Ushers, Greeters, and preparation for Baptism and Communion.
Christian Education Commission - We work the provide additional
opportunities for spiritual growth, outside of our weekly worship
service. We provide a Nursery, Children’s ministries (k-6th grade),
Youth ministries (7th -12th grade), Adult growth classes, VBS,
Awana, Library, Campership (we have access to a mountain camp owned
by our association) and maintain AV supplies (for crafts used in
children’s ministry).
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone that is interested
in seeing people grow in their walk with God and be transformed
into the image of Christ.

Ministering team
The goal of the Ministering Team is to release people to do
ministry and help every member find a meaningful place of service
that best expresses their gifts and abilities. There are 4
Commissions that work to meet this goal:
Men’s Ministry Commission ?Works to meet the needs of men
through regular meetings and events such as: Men’s groups which
include weekly Bible studies and a monthly men’s breakfast. There
are also special events that take place on a regular basis where
men get together for times of fellowship and relationship building.
We also take part in annual Retreats.
Women’s Ministry Commission - Works to meet the needs of women
through regular meetings and events such as: women’s groups which
include several weekly Bible studies. There are also special events
that take place on a regular basis where women get together for
times of fellowship and relationship building. We also take part in
annual Retreats.
Discipleship/Small Group Commission ?This commission works to
foster spiritual development and discovery of spiritual gifting
through Discipleship, Small groups, and other Ministry training.
Stewardship Commission ?This commission works to maintain the
physical property of the church monitoring church Finances, working
with the other teams and commissions to crate the church Budget,
maintaining the church facilities including: the Building,
Custodial staff, and new construction.
Involvement in any of these commissions is an opportunity to
any gift that you fell God had gifted you with. If your gift is
discipleship (people oriented), administration (task oriented), or
anything in between there is a place of ministry for you here.

Caring Team
The job of the Caring Team is to care for the new visitors, new
members, entire church family and church staff. The Caring Team
consists of the Caring Commission, whose members work to meet the
needs of our community in several ways: Home helps, providing
Meals, catering for Funerals, visiting Shut-ins, Hospital
visitations, setting up Baby dedication celebrations.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who has a heart to serve
others to get involved. It is here that we meet the needs of others
by being the hand and the feet of Jesus to our community.
Mission Team
The job of the Missions Team is to release people to do ministry
and help every member find a meaningful place of service that best
expresses their gifts and abilities. The Missions team consists of
one commission.

Missions Commission - Just as the Evangelism/Outreach commission
works to build the relationship between our church body and our
community, the missions commission works to build bridges from our
church and community to the world. They work with the leadership of
the church to form and implement our vision for world missions.
This is done in several ways. First we contact missionaries who are
currently in the field keeping a line open for updates and prayer
requests. They also screen potential missionaries that are sent
from our church. As short term mission opportunities come available
the missions commission works assist in the planning and sending of
the trips. They also organize Christmas in September, which works
to raise funds for our missionaries in the field around the world.
This is s great opportunity for anyone who has a heart for
reaching the lost outside of our borders.
