The child’s most basic image of God is the image created by parents
through their behavior in their relationship with the child. So one
of the most important tasks of parents is to build a basis of love
and security on which the child can develop morality and faith.
We are committed to helping parents build that basis of love and
security, which begins at infancy and carries through out a child’s
life.
We concerned with helping you as a family teach your children about
the things of God at the earliest age possible.
The children’s ministry at CBC exists to provide a safe and fun
learning environment for your child through our Bible Discovery Hour
(BDH), Children's Church, Family Discipleship Night and Awana.

Vision & Purpose
The purpose of the children’s ministry is to help the
children at Calvary build a solid biblical foundation, based on the
love of Jesus. This foundation is to serve as their base as they
grow in their faith, toward fulfilling the great commandment and
the great commission; learning to love God and to love people.
Our Children's Church is a unique teaching environment where
we immerse the children in an interactive learning environment.
Each quarter we focus on a theme and then we take the children to a
place that best represents that theme. For example: we may take the
children on an archeological dig for 12 weeks as we study the
characters and events in the Old Testament. Each week we begin our
time in worship, praising God through music. We then teach the
children biblical lessons, teaching them how to apply it to their
lives. We end our time with a game or a craft that reinforces the
lessons that they are learning each week. Each quarter we focus on
a different theme, which will allow them the opportunity to learn
about God in new, exciting and fun environments.
